Camille Cusumano
I've been a professional journalist for more than thirty years. My travel memoir, TANGO: an Argentine Love Story, about living, loving, and dancing in Buenos Aires, was published in 2008 by Seal Press. If you're looking for what's beyond that horizon . . . and wondering how to get there and transform your dull or unsatisfying routine, this book is for you. Thanks to tango, the Argentine culture, and the wonderful people, I spent the better part of three-and-half years in Buenos Aires. I'm hoping to inspire others to follow their heart, whether it's in Buenos Aires or your own backyard. Do check out my writing workshops. I am currently teaching (and dancing) back in San Francisco after several successful workshops in Buenos Aires.
I was an editor at VIA Magazine, the West’s award-winning travel publication, for 17 years. My work has appeared in many publications, including Islands, Country Living, the San Francisco Chronicle, North American Review, Los Angeles Times, Christian Science Monitor, the New York Times, Yoga Journal, Vegetarian Times, and the Washington Post. Watch for my exciting, upcoming tango stories in National Geographic Traveler, Texas Journeys, and other estimable magazines.
